Welcome to the 2012 Kelly for House website...

After winning the 2010 election, I eagerly arrived at the capital and began working for the citizens of District 28A. While I am proud of the initiatives I've taken in the first four years, I know I must continue to work hard, listen to community voices, and find common ground with my constituents.

The financial issues ahead of us are significant, but like all the hard working residents of District 28A, I am prepared to make necessary sacrifices and well informed decisions on tough choices.

During the next session, my focus will remain on expanding your economic opportunities while ensuring government does its part to reduce and reform spending. Financial concerns are immediate, but I am confident the state government can continue to provide important services to every individual.

As you know, offering a quality public education is one of my priorities and I will continue to push for meaningful K-12 education reform.

Last session, I was pleased to have the governor sign a bill allowing Fairview Hospital in Red Wing, Benedictine Health Systems and Goodhue County to work together in an effort to provide a quality medical campus for aging residents.

Throughout my four years at the capital, I was able to be a part of a number of meaningful bills and develop ideas for the future of Lake City, Cannon Falls, Goodhue, Red Wing, and Wabasha.

Please browse through the online resources available through this website. The information provided should help you see what I've accomplished in the last legislative session as well as how I think we can improve in the upcoming years. I'm confident that making smart choices in St. Paul will ensure we maintain access to goods and services efficiently and effectively.

I thank you for your support and look forward to representing you again in the Minnesota House of Representatives.
